Drill one learning outcome

The mock tells you which learning outcomes cost you marks. Pick one here and answer only its questions, each marked as soon as you choose, with the rule behind the answer.

Criteria numbered as in the FSRE specification. In beta: these questions haven't been checked by a CeMAP holder yet. If one looks wrong, report it and we'll fix it. Checked 6 November 2026.

Questions

What are the FRE1 assessment criteria?
Eleven criteria under five learning outcomes, numbered 1.1 to 5.2: financial markets, asset classes, government and international regulation, financial services in the economy and financial crime, firms’ obligations, consumers’ needs, legal concepts, wills, intestacy and trusts, the development of regulation, the FCA and PRA, and the FCA Handbook.
Where do these questions come from?
They are the questions from our FRE1 mock, written by us from the published syllabus and public sources. The drill shows them one criterion at a time and marks each as you answer.
How should I use the drill?
Sit the full mock first, then drill the criteria where the results page shows you dropped marks. Read each reason, even for the ones you got right.

See where you stand
