Remote exam checklist for CeMAP
Every CeMAP exam is now sat at home on Walbrook's Brightspace platform, watched through your webcam. Work through this list a day or two before, so nothing on the day stops you starting.
From Walbrook's page on the 2025 changes, exam information and the CeMAP specification. Items marked “usual” are what remote invigilation generally expects rather than something Walbrook states for CeMAP. Checked 6 November 2026.
A day or two before
On the day
After the exam
- Your result comes the same day.
- Your feedback comes as an analysis sheet on MyLIBF, showing where you dropped marks.
- You can ask for a result to be reviewed within 10 working days of getting it.
- If you need a resit, you can sit a unit up to 3 times in a week and 10 times in any 12 months. Each resit is £120.
Questions
- Do I need to book my CeMAP exam?
- No. CeMAP exams are on demand: the exam link on Brightspace is open around the clock until you complete it or your registration ends. You can sit units on the same day or on different days.
- Can I take a toilet break during a CeMAP exam?
- No. Walbrook says toilet breaks aren’t allowed during the exam, so go just before you start. Most units are an hour; the final case-study unit is two.
- Can I sit CeMAP on a work laptop?
- Yes, if it lets the exam through. On a work device or VPN, ask your IT team to allow *.learnosity.com and *.atomicjoltappsie.com before the day, as Walbrook advises.
- What equipment do I need for a CeMAP exam?
- A PC or laptop with a webcam, and nothing to install. The webcam has to move, because you show the whole room in a 360-degree scan before you start, so a laptop or a webcam on a cable is easiest.
- When do I get my CeMAP result?
- The same day. You can ask Walbrook to review a result within 10 working days of getting it, and your feedback comes as an analysis sheet on MyLIBF.
